Day 24: My Mt. Rushmore

Elvis because he is the King.
Captain America because he is a hero.
Han Solo because he is a scoundrel.
Spock because he's wicked smart.

Above is my answer to this challenge:

Personal Mt. Rushmore

A sculptor has just dropped a huge rock in your backyard. She wants to build a monument for you just like Mt. Rushmore, but you get to pick the four people on it. There are some rules though:

  • You have to pick four, no more, no less.
  • They do not have to be famous or real.
  • Give a reason for each choice.
  • Have Fun!
Bonus: Mold it, draw it, sculpt it in mashed potatoes, or simply cut out pictures and paste them together.

I would love to see your version of Mount Rushmore made real.

As for my personal Mt. Rushmore, I would have:
Zod, because you have to have Zod, Captain Picard, because he is one cool cat, Albert Einstein, because nothing says "American" like a German citizen, and Bill Cosby, because he reminds me of Mr. Rogers, who, along with Chuck Norris, also belongs on Mount Rushmore.

Walt Whitman, Masanobu Fukuoka, the vet from Kabuki:the Alchemy, Spider Jerusalem--looking at some of my favorite/most influential books.
Uncle Walt for speaking his soul. Masanobu Fukuoka for blowing the roof off one of the great lies and travesties of modern culture, in a humble and spiritual way. The vet for for helping people radically. Spider Jerusalem for digging deep for truth and not taking the proverbial "it" from anybody.
